6.2.4. Payment methods

Under “Payment methods” you can see an overview of the payment methods available in your web shop. The payment methods are defined beforehand so you do not have to create them yourself. You can edit the methods if you want. Please note that there are special settings for “Credit card payment”.

5.8.4.1. Edit payment method

Below we go through how you can edit in a payment method.

 

Example – Edit ”Account transfer” In the following we will go through an example of how to edit the payment method “Account transfer”.

 

1. Edit payment method To edit a payment method you need to select “Payment methods” under the “Control Panel” fan. Next click on “Edit payment method” next to “Account transfer”. You will then get a screen where you can edit the fields. 2. Payment method Payment method indicates what type the payment method is. This type cannot be changed. 3.Title* Under the field “Title” you can enter a title. We choose the standard text “Account transfer”. 4. Description In the field “Description” you can enter a description of the payment method. This description is shown in the check-out process when the customer selects payment method. 5. Delivery countries Under the field “Delivery countries” you can choose which countries that should have “Account transfer” activated. 6. Order status upon payment* Under the field “Order status upon payment” you can choose the status that the order gets when the purchase is completed. The standard is set to “Order received”. 7. Sorting* Under the field “Sorting” you can control the order which the payment methods are shown in. Here we choose “1”. This means that “Account transfer” is the first payment method to be shown. 8. Done  You are now finished – click on “Update”.
