If you have purchased the Ankiro search module you get access to a variety of additional search and statistics possibilities, beyond the normal functionality described in '5.6 searches':
Statistics
Via The search list you have access to an expanded statistics for each keyword. This can be accessed by clicking on the word.
Here you can see detailed information including IP address from which the search was conducted, the number of search results on the search and, if the search is conducted by a registered user, a link to the user.
You can also see if a search was performed using the Ankiro search optimization.
Ankiro
The Ankiro tab contains information about your Ankiro status.
You can find information about your current solution type and the number of products it allows, as well as your current number of products in your solution.
If this number exceeds the allowed number in your Ankiro package, the Ankiro Search Optimization is turned off and the shop will instead use the normal search until the number of products are reduced to the allowable number or you upgrade your Ankiro package.
Additionally information on the number of products waiting to be updated in Ankiro and time of next synkronisering can also be found here, as well as information about when the last sync occurred and how many products it covered.
Custom Thesaurus
The Custom thesaurus enables you to link words together to yield the same result in a search.
To create a new synonym group, first press the green button at the top of the list. This creates a new empty group, which can then be filled with words which are to be tied together, sepereret by commas.
An example of a group could be "horse, stallion, mare"
When the desired words have been typed in, press the ENTER key and the group is saved immediately.
In this example with the words horse, stallion and mare as a synonym group, a search on one of the words now have the same effect as if you were performing seperate searches on all three words and then combining the results.
To edit an existing synonym group click on the line, make the desired updates and press ENTER to save.
To delete a group click on it, erase the content and press ENTER. The group will now be erased.
The same word might appear in several different synonymous groups.
At the top of the list you can select which language you want to define synonym groups for. As an example, if a user is currently using the Danish part of the webshop English synonym groups will not influence the search.
Recommended Products
At recommended products you can control what products you wish to appear at the top of a search result when searching on a particular phrase or a certain word.
To create a new word or phrase first press the green button at the top of the list. This will open a popup where the word or phrase can be entered.
The list in now ready for you to enter orderfor the products. Locate the products you want brought to the top of the search result. Click once in the sorting field for the product and enter the desired position(starting from 1 as the topmost position) and press ENTER. This saves the position immediately and the list is reloaded.
To remove sorting from a word, click the order field, delete the contents and press ENTER to save.
To view or edit existing recommended products use the drop down box at the top of the list which contains existing words and phrases for recommended products. Choose a word from the dropdown box and the list is automatically updated to display the product sorting for the selected term.
A product can appear inmultiple words or phrases as a recommended product.
At the top of the list you can select which languages you want to define recommended products for. A search on the Danish and English part of a webshop on the same word will thus not necessarily yield the same recommended products.
Search Engine Optimization, Advanced
Ankiro offers new ways to get inspiration for good words and phrases to search optimization.
In the SEO section of pages in the page tree as well as products and categories in the shop a new feature appears.
This Ankiro feature, named 'Ankiro synonym suggestions' appears under each language layer. It hosts an input box where you type in a word you wish to look up followed by ENTER, at which point Ankiro will write a list of synonym suggestions in the box to the right. You can then select and copy the synonyms you want from the list and use them in your SEO text.
