4.3. Variant types

A ”Variant type” is said to be the template you can use to create product variants with. A “Product variant” is used if you have different variants of a product. Examples of variants could be Weight, Size, Model and Colour. If your product is a T-shirt you could create a variant called “Size”. Your customers could thus choose size when they purchase a T-shirt in your web shop. To create a product variant we first need to create a variant type.
