3.1.3. Insert image

Here you can read about how you insert a picture in your web solution. To insert a picture you first have to upload the picture on the HostedCMS server, so that the web solution can make use of it. Follow the example below and you can with a few clicks insert new pictures in your web solution.
 

Example – Insert picture


In the following an example will be used to explain how you insert a picture in a text page.
 


 

1. Choose page 
To insert a picture you first choose the page where you want to insert a picture. Click on “Page content” to get the chosen page’s content shown.

2. Placement of the picture 
The picture will be inserted where the text-marker is placed. Therefore, click on the wanted place in the text where the picture should be placed.

3. Choose picture 
To choose a picture you click on ”Insert picture”. The icon looks like this: 
 

This brings up the "Image Properties" image dialog. Choose "Browse Server" to open the fileview. Here you can choose a picture to insert, op upload a new one.

4. Upload
If the file you want to insert is not already present on the HostedCMS server (can be seen in the fileview), it must first be uploaded from your computer by clicking "Upload" in the upper part of the dialog.
 
This opens the upload feature.
Now click "Browse..." and select the wanted file on your computer. When the file has been selected click "Upload Selected File" to add the file to the currently active folder.
To change the active folder use the folder-tree in the left part of the dialog.
 
 
 
5. Choose file
When the file has been uploaded to the HostedCMS server it will show up in the fileview. Dobbleclick it to select the file.


6. Create the link

The path to the file will no show up in the URL box. Click "Ok" to create the link and return to the editor.

7. Done
You are now done creating the link – click ”Save” to submit the changes.
