10.1.3. How to set up statistics on searches

On the front page of Google Analytics, “Analytics settings” you select “Edit” for the web solution where you wish to register e-commerce. “Edit” on “Main website profile information” gives the option of changing your basic settings. Under “Site search” select “Do track site search”. The query parameter is set to “search” and you select “Yes, strip query parameters out of URL”. Click “Save changes” at the bottom.

 
Your web solution is now set up for statistics on searches, and will within 24 hours start registering searches.
